Introduction

ProductShake LLC ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Smooth mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

By using Smooth, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Collect

Screenshot Images

When you use the Smooth keyboard to generate reply suggestions, we temporarily process screenshot images from your photo library. These images are:

  • Transmitted securely to our servers for AI analysis
  • Processed to generate contextual reply suggestions
  • Immediately discarded after processing - we do not store your screenshots
  • Never used to train AI models or for any other purpose

User Preferences

We store your preferences locally on your device, including:

  • Style preferences: language style, text case, and flirt level
  • Profile information: gender, sexuality, age range, and dating goal
  • App settings and language selection
  • Onboarding completion status

Your style preferences and profile information are sent alongside your screenshots to Google's Gemini AI with each reply generation request in order to personalize suggestions. This data is not stored on our servers.

Subscription Information

Subscription purchases are processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We receive only:

  • Subscription status (active/inactive)
  • Subscription type (weekly/yearly)
  • Expiration date

We do not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the App's core functionality
  • Generate AI-powered reply suggestions based on your screenshots and preferences
  • Process and manage your subscription
  • Improve and optimize the App experience
  • Communicate with you about updates or support issues

Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:

  • All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
  • Screenshots are processed in memory and immediately discarded
  • We do not maintain databases of user conversations or screenshots
  • Local data is stored using iOS secure storage mechanisms

Third-Party Services

Our App uses the following third-party services:

  • Apple App Store: For subscription processing and payments
  • Google Gemini AI: Your screenshots and style preferences are sent to Google's Gemini API (generativelanguage.googleapis.com) for generating reply suggestions. Data is transmitted securely via HTTPS, processed transiently in memory, and immediately discarded. Google does not store your data or use it for model training. See Google's API Terms of Service

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their use of your information.

Your Rights

Since GoSmooth stores no user data on servers, you are in full control:

  • Opt-out: Disable photo library access at any time through iOS Settings
  • Revoke AI consent: Disable AI data sharing at any time via Settings > Privacy > AI Data Sharing in the app
  • Delete data: Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored preferences
  • Manage subscription: Through your Apple ID account settings

Consent and Your Choices

Before any data is sent to Google's Gemini AI, you must provide explicit consent within the app. You are in full control of this consent:

  • Initial consent: An in-app consent screen is presented before any data is shared with Google. The keyboard will not send data until you agree
  • Withdraw consent: Go to Settings > Privacy > AI Data Sharing and toggle it off at any time
  • Effect of withdrawal: The keyboard will stop generating AI-powered reply suggestions. All other app features remain available
  • Data deletion: No user data is stored on our servers or Google's servers. There is nothing to delete. For any questions, contact [email protected]

Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary:

  • Screenshots: Immediately discarded after processing (not stored)
  • Preferences: Stored locally on your device until you delete the App
  • Subscription data: Retained as long as your subscription is active

Children's Privacy

Our App is rated 17+ and is not intended for children under 17 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
