How do I set up the keyboard?
After installing Smooth, go to Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard, and select "Smooth". Then enable "Allow Full Access" to let the keyboard analyze your screenshots.
Why does the keyboard need Full Access?
Full Access is required for the keyboard to access your recent screenshots from the photo library and send them to our AI for analysis. Without Full Access, the keyboard cannot provide reply suggestions. We never store your screenshots - they are processed and immediately discarded.
How do I use Smooth?
1. Take a screenshot of your conversation in any dating app
2. Open the app where you want to reply and switch to the Smooth keyboard
3. Tap the "Get Replies" button to analyze your recent screenshot
4. Tap any reply to use it, or regenerate for fresh options
Is my data private?
Yes. We take your privacy seriously. Screenshots are transmitted securely, analyzed by our AI, and immediately discarded. Your style preferences and profile information are sent alongside screenshots to personalize AI suggestions, but none of this data is stored on our servers. Preferences are only stored locally on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I customize my reply style?
Open the Smooth app to access three style settings on the main screen:
Language Style — Choose between Gen-Z slang, Proper English, and more
Text Case — Pick all lowercase, ALL CAPS, or Normal Case
Flirt Level — Set your vibe: Playful, Tease, Friendly, or Bold
Your "About You" profile (gender, sexuality, age range, dating goal) also helps personalize suggestions. You can update these anytime from the main screen.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime through your iPhone's Settings:
1. Open Settings
2. Tap your name at the top
3. Tap "Subscriptions"
4. Select "Smooth"
5. Tap "Cancel Subscription"
You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Can I get a refund?
Since all payments are processed through Apple, refund requests must be made through the App Store. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund from Apple.
The keyboard isn't showing up. What do I do?
Try these steps:
1. Make sure you've added the Smooth keyboard in Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards
2. Ensure Full Access is enabled for the Smooth keyboard
3. Try restarting your iPhone
4. If the issue persists, try removing and re-adding the keyboard

Which dating apps does Smooth work with?
Smooth works with any dating app! Since it's a keyboard extension, you can use it anywhere you can type - including Tinder, Hinge, Bumble, OkCupid, Match, and even messaging apps like iMessage or WhatsApp.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID. Simply download Smooth on your new device using the same Apple ID, and your subscription will be automatically restored. If it doesn't restore automatically, go to Settings within the app and tap "Restore Purchases".
